From the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP)
If you are enrolled in any of DSN's nursing programs and you are interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant
to obtain some additonal experience or exposure to health care, here is what you need to do:

  • Successfully complete five (5) semester credits of nursing fundamentals in a Registered Nurse program.
  • Provide a transcript or a verification letter from the school where you earned the credits.

    When accomplished, you are qualified to sit for the written exam and complete the skills evaluation to obtain your ceritification.
